Access to a secured online imaging portal

The secured online medical imaging portail of Chirec enables patients and referring doctors to view imaging examinations carried out at the hospital.

Accessing the portal

The imaging portal of Chirec can be accessed via the following address: http://images.chirec.be.

Log in using the access and security codes on the document you were given during your visit to the Medical Imaging Department.

You can also give this document to your general practitioner at any subsequent appointments so that they can also access your images.

What should I do if I lose my access codes?

If you lose the document containing the access and security codes, please contact the secretariat of the medical imaging department so that the codes can be desactivated.

A document with new access codes can alos be obtained from the secretariat.

You have access to MediBridge / MediMail

Along with the detailed summary or report, you will receive a link to the portal, access and security codes which will enable you to view the images of the examinations requested.

Using your medical file application, all you need to do is to click on this link or copy/paste it into you usual web browser.

You do not have access to MediBridge / MediMail

The link to the portal, as well as access and security codes, will be printed on the hard copy of the detailed summary or report that you will receive. All you need to do is to use the link in your usual web browser.
