Preparation for birth and parenthood

Preparation for birth and parenthood invites the woman and/or the couple to settle down around the arrival of the baby within the family.

Every family, every pregnancy is unique.

Our objective is to provide you with the right tools to help you live your pregnancy, birth and arrival of your newborn baby in the best possible way.

Preparation is not a recipe, it is a time for reflection, adjustment, awareness, an opportunity to develp knowledge and resources.

For this reason, we start from each of you: your questions, your ideas, your feelings, etc.

What we propose

We offer 1 to 8 sessions (adjustable according to your needs) to address different themes:

- The meeting: a time to establish what are your needs, desires, questions, fears, etc.

Together, we determine how many sessions you would like to attend. It is therefore interesting to make this first appointment at the beginning of the second trimester.

- Pelvis and perineum: how is it going in my body?

- Pain/epidural: shall we talk about it? When and why come to the hospital?

- Recovery between contractions: breathing - arrival - relaxation

- Pushing

- When it doesn't go as planned

- My baby's choice of food - The first few days with baby - Coming home - Crying - Siblings
