Holter ECG

This test assesses the perfusion of the heart muscle to detect any abnormalities. It is based on the injection of a weakly radioactive product, combined with an exercise test and image recording.

  • The Holter is a continuous recording of heart rhythm.
  • It can last from 24 hours to 1 week.
  • Several electrodes are glued to the chest and connected to a box.
  • The device is easy to wear and does not interfere with normal daily activities.
  • The recording is analysed and related to the symptoms reported and noted by the patient.
  • The examination takes place on the 1st floor, Cardiology, D wing.
  • You must register in advance at reception on the 1st floor D.
  • It will take about ten minutes to set up the holter in the department, so you will have to come back the next day at about the same time to return it.
  • The invoice will be sent to you by the hospital.
