Reconstructive surgery

Reconstructive surgery corrects abnormalities or deformities of a part of the body which causes functional, aesthetic and possibly pathological problems that may arise following an illness (for example: surgical removal for cancer), an accident (traumatism, burns, etc.) or a congenital deformation.

It often uses specialised surgical techniques such as tissue grafts and flaps, microsurgery, tissue expansion, transfer of muscles and tendons, lipofilling, endoscopic surgery ...

We are thoroughly familiar with the many tissue transplantation techniques that enable us to solve the most complex problems, particularly for:

  • Breast reconstruction surgery following cancer.
  • Skin cancer surgery (carcinoma, melanoma).
  • Treatment of acute or chronic wounds (sores, burns, etc.)
  • Hand surgery, trauma surgery (including reimplantation), and degenerative surgery (arthritis, Depuyten disease).
  • Surgery for congenital deformities (face, hand, etc.)
