Thoracic surgery
Thoracic surgery is one of the disciplines within the Thoracic and Vascular Centre and its aim is to offer integrated management of diseases located within the thorax and cardiovascular diseases. Thoracic surgery includes oncological procedures (surgery for tumours in the lungs, oesophagus, trachea, metastases etc.) and non-oncological procedures (surgery for pneumothorax, emphysema, lung biopsies, goitres or surgery to the rib cage).
