IT is now a ubiquitous aspect of any health care establishment. Its influence is felt in the administrative domain (admissions, invoicing, accounts) and in clinical practice (medical notes, radiological imaging, nursing files).
The IT Department has played a leading role in the process of bringing together the different sites within CHIREC.
It was decided from the beginning to centralise the whole operation and create uniformity in all software across all sites.
They all use the same software and record the same data, which facilitates consolidation at CHIREC group level.
