The multidisciplinary cutaneous oncology team invites you to take note of the following advice:

  • Choose shade over direct sunlight between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm
  • Wear protective clothing when in direct sunlight
  • Absolutely avoid sunburn
  • Protect children in particular, as their skin is more sensitive
  • Use a sun cream with a factor of higher than SPF 15
  • Do not use sunbeds
  • Get into the habits of checking your skin regularly and if anything changes, contact your GP or dermatologist.

Dermatologic & Melanoma Oncology Clinic

Dermatologists, anatomo-pathologists, plastic and/or oncological surgeons, radiologists, isotopists, medical oncologists, radiotherapists, are all specialists who participate in the dermatologic and melanoma oncology clinic.

Together, they create the dynamics essential to the effective, rapid, integrated and personalised management of various skin cancers (carcinomas, melanomas, rare tumours) from screening (digital or not) to follow-up, including all the stages adapted to each individual case: extension assessment, dermatological treatments (cryotherapy, dynamic phototherapy, immunotherapy or topical chemotherapy, etc.) or surgical (resection, sentinel lymph nodes, reconstruction using the most appropriate techniques), and finally systemic treatments (immunotherapies, targeted therapies, chemotherapies).
