Le Lieu-Dit - A psychotherapeutic day centre
Presentation
The structure of le Lieu-Dit facilitates the provision of psychotherapeutic treatment in a day hospital setting, potentially in addition to outpatient follow-up following hospitalisation.
This framework enables people to remain in their home environment while being offered an additional space and a place for group therapy, which is aimed at improving psychological autonomy and better management of their difficulties.
The objective of this approach is to help them to get back on track, to understand their behaviour so that they can avoid repeating harmful habits and experiment with other patterns of behaviour.
Who is eligible to attend?
Adults who are well-anchored to reality and who, despite their disorder, have sufficient internal strength to being able to work introspectively.
Therapeutic framework
Our systemic counselling methodology is based on group work. Its dynamics enable people:
- to interact
- to share their life experiences
- and to enrich their perception of reality.
We offer a range of activities using a variety of media that facilitate self-expression and support reflection and verbalisation.

We ask patients to participate in all of the scheduled activities.
During the first month, patients are required to attend 4 days a week.
Patients then have the option to reduce their attendance to just one day a week towards the end of their treatment period and/or according to their other commitments (returning to part-time work, volunteering, studying or other activities).
Admission
We offer 3 application meetings:
- two meetings with the referrers
- and another one with the medical doctor in charge, to assess the request.
