Hospitalization - St-Anne St-Remi Clinic

Your family and friends are welcome to visit you.

For your comfort and that of other patients, certain times must be respected. To find out more, click here.

Please note that visiting hours may be adapted by the care team depending on your condition.

In the event of admission for surgery

  • Documents such as your pre-operative examinations, if these have not been carried out or sent to the hospital beforehand.
  • For the hospital doctor :
    • Any letter from your general practitioner requesting hospitalisation.
    • Medical documents concerning your state of health (blood group card, X-rays, results of examinations carried out outside the Chirec, etc.).
    • Your usual and/or recent medication.
    • Your certificate of incapacity for work (confidential form given to you by your mutual insurance company).
  • Body linen, bathrobe, pyjamas, slippers.
  • Toiletries, towels and flannels, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.
  • Please note that all our rooms are non-smoking.
  • Cut flowers are allowed in the rooms, but plants should be avoided.
  • For meals, you can choose your menu when the nurse or dietician visits your room. Please note that this option is not available for patients on special diets.
  • You can also enjoy quality food in our ‘Tasty’ gourmet area on the ground floor of the hospital.
  • If you wish, a hairdressing/pedicure service is available. Information will be available in your room or from the nursing staff on the floor.
  • The CHIREC group wishes to ensure that everyone's personal philosophical convictions are respected. By giving the nursing staff the completed form in the ‘Passport’, you will be able to receive a visit from a representative of the religion of your choice or a lay adviser.

In the event of admission for a one-day hospitalization

  • Documents such as X-rays and pre-operative examinations if these have not been carried out or sent to the hospital beforehand.
  • A small set of toiletries and towels.

Does the one-day hospitalization concern your child?

Bring a change of underwear (or nappy), a light snack (or bottle) and your baby's favourite toy or soft toy.

After your operation, you will be monitored in the recovery room for as long as you need to recover. The length of time will depend on the type of operation and the type of anaesthetic.

Your relatives should not worry if you do not return to your room at exactly the scheduled time.

The nursing staff on the unit will inform them of your situation.

Visitors are not permitted in the surgical one-day hospital. The person accompanying you may stay until you leave the operating theatre and join you in your room once the operation is over.

The anaesthetist will tell you when you can eat or drink. A member of the nursing staff will take care of your meal or snack.

Arrange for someone to drive you home after the operation, as you will not be able to drive.

In the case of medical one-day hospitalization, once the treatment has been completed, you will have to wait for authorization from the care team to go home.
