Braine-l'Alleud Hospital

Braine-l'Alleud station is located approximately 700 metres from the hospital (about ten minutes on foot).

The nearest bus stop to the hospital is ‘Braine-l'Alleud Hôpital’ (TEC - Line E203), located 100 metres from the entrance.

There are also other stops nearby (Avenue Léon Jourez stop – 250 m / 3 min walk):

These stops are served by TEC bus lines, including the Braine-l'Alleud Proxibus.

Bicycle racks are available at the hospital entrance.

Access is secure and easy from the region's cycle paths.

Braine-l'Alleud Hospital is located at 35 Rue Wayez.

Several car parks are available: 

• A car park is available on Rue Wayez, giving you access to the footbridge to the main building.
• For patients who wish to go to Building F (Fertility Centre, Gynaecology, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation), the former municipal car park on Rue de la Goëtte is accessible and free for 3 hours (blue zone - disc).

A drop-off point is available in front of the entrance.

You may also wish to consider carpooling platforms, which allow you to organise shared journeys.

Wheelchairs are available:

• at the main entrance;
• at the entrance to Building D;
• at the emergency room entrance;
• in car park P4, near the lifts.

Wheelchairs are accessible via a coin or token system, which is returned when the wheelchair is returned to its location.

The car park operates with a ticket system.

Payment machines are available:

• in the main entrance hall;
• in each of the car parks.

Payment can only be made by debit/credit card.

The ticket is required to exit the car park after payment.

The parking fee is €1.50 per hour.

• If you lose your ticket, a flat fee of €30 will be charged.

In the event of a patient's death within our establishment, the deceased is taken to the hospital's mortuary.

The mortuary is a hospital service that receives and cares for the deceased. It allows families and loved ones to organise the deceased's care by the funeral home of their choice within 72 hours.

Organising a funeral and completing the necessary administrative procedures following a death can be difficult during such a painful time. The hospital does everything possible to help the families and loved ones of the deceased through this process.

The team welcomes and receives families and loved ones during the funeral parlour's opening hours, having made an appointment in advance by calling the number provided below for the hospital concerned. The team assists and supports them until the deceased is taken care of by the funeral home chosen by the family and loved ones.
