NEW: SNAPPIES WASHABLE DIAPERS
From today, parents staying in our maternity wards can try out Snappies washable nappies: an eco-friendly, healthy and economical alternative to disposable nappies, which you can discover whilst you’re in the maternity ward.
Just as simple and practical to use as a standard disposable nappy, Snappies nappies offer numerous benefits:
- Eco-friendly and economical. Less waste for the planet, and a sustainable solution that remains cost-effective in the long term.
- Soft and healthy. A very soft fabric, free from endocrine disruptors, designed to be gentle on your baby’s delicate skin.
- Convenient and hygienic. They are used in exactly the same way as disposable nappies and are washed according to strict hygiene protocols, giving you complete peace of mind.
How can you make the most of them?
Washable nappies are available for a daily fee during your stay at the maternity ward.
It couldn’t be simpler: just speak to your midwife; she’ll be delighted to help you get started.

Our Maternity United is committed to promoting the health of newborn babies. We are committed to providing parents-to-be with quality information throughout the pregnancy, so that they can make an informed choice about their child's diet.
It's essential for us to support them in their choice.
This is how, in 2016, we were among the first to be awarded the “Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative” (BFHI) label.
Visiting hours
For family and friends
- From 5pm to 7pm.
- 2 people at a time.
- Maximum 4 different people.
For the partner and siblings
- From 3pm to 8pm.
- Private room: the partner is welcome at any time, day or night.
- Double room: the partner is asked to leave the room by 8pm at the latest.
