Pre-operative examinations

The pre-operative examination is carried out before your hospitalization.

During this appointment, your doctor will inform you if your hospitalization requires a visit to the anesthesiologist and any pre-operative tests.

The visit to the anesthesiologist must take place no later than 8 days before the procedure. This timeframe is crucial as it will also determine if additional tests are required.

Pre-operative examinations

The pre-operative examination service will contact you to schedule an appointment. If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please call us at 02/434.86.41.

On the day of your appointment, go to the pre-operative examination service (1st floor, corridor G) with the completed pre-operative questionnaire.

Be sure to include a written list of the medications you take, specifying their daily dosage, as well as any allergies you may have.

On the day of your appointment, go to the pre-operative examination service (ground floor, Route 120) with the completed pre-operative questionnaire. Be sure to include a list of the medications you take, specifying their daily dosage, as well as any allergies you may have.

During your consultation with the surgeon, when the decision for surgery is made, you will be asked to complete a "pre-anesthesia" questionnaire.

The pre-operative examination office will contact you to schedule any necessary appointments. If you do not hear from us within 7 days, please contact your surgeon's office (a list of contact numbers is available here).

The anesthetist consultation must take place no later than 8 days before the procedure. This timeframe is essential as it will also determine if additional tests are required.

On the day of your appointment : please check in at reception with the completed pre-operative questionnaire. Don’t forget to list the medications you are taking.
