During your stay

The length of your stay may vary depending on the planned operation and your post-operative condition.

We do our utmost to ensure that your stay in hospital is as comfortable as possible.

General information

Once the admission formalities have been completed, you will be asked to choose between staying in a private room or a double room. However, this may not be your initial choice.

A nurse will welcome you and help you settle in.

You will be given a full explanation of the operation of the equipment designed to ensure your well-being and safety.

For your own safety, we advise you not to bring any valuables with you. CHIREC actively discourages theft. The management cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to valuables, which are always possible.

If necessary (emergency admission), you can leave your valuables, either personally or through a nurse, when you are admitted, in the entrance hall or in the safe in your room, if your room has one.

Each patient has a lockable wardrobe.

Most rooms have a toilet and shower.

In private rooms only, and for an additional charge, a companion may stay with you.

If you wish to store food in the unit's fridge, please ask the nursing staff.
