Prenatal care provided by midwives
The midwives offer birth support:
- a warm space for listening and providing information
- a time of availability and attentive, individualized presence
- a source of answers to your questions
- support and guidance for your pregnancy, birth and return home
- a place to talk about difficult experiences from previous births.
Meetings last one hour.
The midwife works in collaboration with your gynecologist.
She monitors your pregnancy both medically (taking parameters, etc.) and in terms of birth preparation (providing advice, answering your questions, etc.).
If you would like to see a midwife for a 'meeting' consultation or a pre-natal consultation at the Edith Cavell Medical Centre or the Delta Hospital, please make an appointment by calling 02/434.81.12.
You can also meet a midwife at the Medical Centre Europe-Lambermont - T: 02/434.24.11.
A midwife's smoking cessation consultation is designed to provide clear information, with a sympathetic eye, to pregnant women and couples who have questions about smoking during pregnancy.
If you wish, we can provide you with tailor-made cessation assistance, adapted to your wishes as a mother-to-be/parent-to-be.
Consultations are only available at the Delta Hospital, by appointment only: 02/434.81.12.
