Obstetrical physiotherapy
Pre-natal physiotherapy
Group sessions
Coping with the physical changes of pregnancy and preparing for childbirth are important aspects of a pregnant woman's well-being.
Our physiotherapists specialising in obstetrics organise group sessions every Thursday from 1pm to 2pm to help you do just that.
Prenatal physiotherapy classes are open to all pregnant women wishing to prepare for pregnancy in a comprehensive and collective way, in small groups.
They are organised in modules of 4 one-hour sessions, each focusing on a specific theme:
- Postures and awareness of the perineum
- Relaxation and breathing
- Working positions
- Pushing
Each session includes a series of gentle physical exercises related to the theme, and ends with a moment of relaxation.
You are free to sign up for the full module (4 sessions), or just for the themes that interest you.
Individual sessions
Our physiotherapists specialising in obstetrics can also welcome you in their private practice for a one-to-one session.
pre-natal aquagym
Group sessions
Physiotherapists also offer pre-natal aquagym sessions at the Delta hospital every Thursday from 4pm to 5pm.
Post-natal physiotherapy
Strengthening the muscles that were relaxed during pregnancy and reharmonising the body as a whole are the goals for the new mother's well-being.
Postnatal physiotherapy involves strengthening the muscles and posture of the body after the birth of your baby.
