After your operation, you will be monitored in the recovery room for as long as you need to recover. The length of time will depend on the type of operation and the type of anaesthetic.

Your relatives should not worry if you do not return to your room at exactly the scheduled time.

The nursing staff on the ward will inform them of your situation.

The anaesthetist will tell you when you can eat and drink. A member of the nursing staff will take care of your meal or snack.

Arrange for someone to drive you home after the operation, as you will not be able to drive.

In the case of medical one-day hospitalization, once the treatment has been completed, you will have to wait for authorization from the care team to go home.
